Trying to use it as a reference for Tranter's novels is a joke. Almost nothing I look up is in this book. Pages 22-25 is a Chronology table of important events in the history of Scotland. That part is nice if, like me, you are trying to learn a bit of the history of Scotland from Tranter's novels.
